Possible Causes
Faulty start button, door not detected as closed, timer not set correctly, internal relay not energizing
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Internal checks require power isolation; basic user checks can be done with power on.
- Check door closure: Ensure the door is fully closed and latching. If the door switch is not engaged, the oven may not start.
- Timer/clock: Confirm that the clock is set and that no automatic program is active that prevents manual start.
- Test start button: If the button feels unresponsive, the keypad or button PCB may be faulty. Remove the control panel and test the switch with a multimeter. Replace the UI board if necessary.
- Relay check: If all inputs are correct, the main PCB’s heater relay may not be energizing. Replacement of the main PCB is usually required.
