How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety First: Turn off power at the breaker.
- Inspect broil element: Look for visible breaks, blisters, or burn marks on the broil element at the top of the oven.
- Test element: Disconnect the broil element leads and measure resistance. Replace the element if open.
- Check wiring: Inspect wires and terminals for heat damage. Repair or replace as needed.
- Control board: If the element and wiring are good, the broil relay on the EOC may have failed; replace the EOC.
