How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety First: Turn off power at the breaker before testing.
- Access sensor: Locate the oven temperature sensor at the rear of the oven cavity. Remove mounting screws and gently pull forward to access the connector.
- Test sensor: Disconnect and measure resistance at room temperature (~1050–1100 Ω). If reading is infinite (open), replace the sensor.
- Check harness: If sensor is good, check continuity from the sensor connector to the EOC connector. Repair or replace any open wiring.
- Reseat connectors: Reseat the sensor connector at both ends to ensure good contact.
