How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety First: Disconnect power at the breaker before working on the control panel.
- Identify stuck key: With power on briefly, observe if any key appears to be pressed continuously or if the display shows a constant function.
- Inspect keypad: Remove power again. Remove the control panel and inspect the keypad surface and edges for spills, grease, or physical damage.
- Clean and dry: Carefully clean around the keypad with a slightly damp cloth (no excessive liquid). Allow to dry fully.
- Ribbon and panel replacement: If the error persists, disconnect the keypad ribbon from the EOC and power up: if F7 disappears, replace the keypad/control panel assembly. If F7 remains with keypad disconnected, replace the EOC.
