How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety First: Disconnect power at the breaker before removing the control panel.
- Clean surface: Wipe the keypad surface with a slightly damp cloth and dry thoroughly. Avoid spraying cleaner directly on the panel.
- Reseat ribbon cable: Remove the control panel back cover and reseat the flat ribbon cable between the keypad and EOC.
- Check for moisture: If there was a recent spill or steam exposure, allow the panel to dry completely for several hours.
- Replace keypad: If specific keys consistently fail, replace the touchpad/control panel assembly. If all keys are affected and the keypad is new, replace the EOC.
