How to Fix / Troubleshooting
This is common with new Frigidaire ovens.
- Burn-in cycle: Remove all packaging and racks. Run the oven empty at 400–450°F for 30–60 minutes with a window open and exhaust fan on.
- Repeat if needed: If odor persists, repeat the burn-in once or twice more.
- Check for foreign materials: Ensure no plastic, zip ties, or foam were left inside the oven or on racks.
If the smell continues after several uses and cleaning, contact Frigidaire support.
