Possible Causes
Burned out oven light bulb, Failed light socket, Faulty light switch or door switch, Failed light relay on control board
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety First: Turn off power or unplug the range before replacing the bulb to avoid shock.
- Replace bulb: Remove the glass light cover inside the oven and replace the bulb with the correct high-temperature appliance bulb specified by Frigidaire.
- Check socket: If a new bulb does not work, inspect the socket for corrosion or burning. Replace the oven light socket if damaged.
- Door switch: On some models, the light is controlled by a door switch. Test the switch for continuity when the door is opened/closed and replace if faulty.
- Control relay: If the socket and switch are good, the EOC light relay may have failed; replace the control board if you need light functionality.
