Possible Causes
Tripped house breaker or one leg of 240 V supply lost, Failed bake element, Failed broil element, Failed EOC relay or open wiring to elements
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety First: Turn off power at the breaker before accessing rear panels or elements.
- Verify power supply: Check the range breaker in the electrical panel. It should be a double-pole breaker; reset it fully OFF then ON. If possible, measure 240 VAC at the range terminal block.
- Test elements: Remove power. Access the rear of the oven and disconnect the bake and broil element terminals. Measure resistance: typical Frigidaire elements read 10–40 Ω. Replace any element that is open (infinite resistance) or visibly burned through.
- Inspect wiring: Check wires from the elements to the EOC/relay board for burns or loose connections. Repair or replace damaged wiring.
- Control board: If power and elements are good but no heat, the EOC or relay board may not be sending power. Replace the control board.
