How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power before removing the control panel. Do not spray cleaners directly onto the panel.
- 1. Clean panel: Wipe the control surface with a soft, slightly damp cloth and then dry thoroughly.
- 2. Dry moisture: If the panel was exposed to steam or heavy cleaning, allow it to dry for several hours before retesting.
- 3. Reseat ribbon cable: Remove the control panel and carefully unplug and replug the ribbon cable between the touch glass and the UI board.
- 4. Replace touch glass: If specific areas never respond or require excessive pressure, replace the touch glass assembly.
