Possible Causes
Drifting oven temperature sensor, Partially open bake element, Weak relay on main control board, Loose neutral or line connection at terminal block
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power at the breaker before removing panels or testing components.
- 1. Verify with an oven thermometer: Place a reliable oven thermometer in the center of the cavity and preheat to 180°C. Compare displayed temperature to actual. If the oven is consistently low, continue troubleshooting.
- 2. Inspect bake element: Look for cold spots or areas that do not glow evenly when heating (view through the door window). After power is off and the element is cool, remove and test continuity. Replace if resistance is infinite or if there are visible defects.
- 3. Test temperature sensor: Remove and measure resistance at room temperature and at a known elevated temperature (e.g., 100°C in hot water, if accessible). If readings do not match specifications, replace the sensor.
- 4. Check terminal block connections: Access the rear terminal block where the power cable connects. Tighten any loose screws and inspect for heat damage. A loose connection can cause low voltage and poor heating.
- 5. Control calibration: Some Fulgor Milano models allow temperature offset calibration in the settings menu. If hardware is good, adjust the offset by +10–20°C to compensate, or replace the control board if offset is extreme.
