Possible Causes
Loose ribbon cable between touch panel and control board, Damaged user interface PCB, Faulty main control board, Electrical noise or surge damage
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power at the breaker before removing the control panel or touching any internal electronics.
- 1. Power cycle: Turn off the breaker for 5–10 minutes to fully discharge the electronics. Restore power and check if the error clears.
- 2. Access control panel: Remove the screws securing the front control panel. Carefully tilt it forward to expose the ribbon cables and connectors.
- 3. Reseat connectors: Gently unplug and replug the flat ribbon cable(s) between the display/touch panel and the main control board. Ensure they are fully inserted and locked.
- 4. Inspect for damage: Look for burnt components, corrosion, or moisture on the user interface board and main control. If liquid ingress is evident, both boards may need replacement.
- 5. Replace faulty board: If reseating cables does not resolve the issue, replace the user interface module first (most common). If the problem persists, replace the main control board.
