Oven displays a child lock or safety lock error and will not accept commands.

Safety first: No internal access is required for basic checks. If you later remove panels, disconnect power first.

• 1. Disable control lock: Refer to the user manual for the specific key combination (often holding a lock symbol or specific key for 3–5 seconds). Attempt to toggle the lock off.
• 2. Power reset: Turn off the breaker for 5 minutes to reset the electronics. Restore power and check if the lock clears.
• 3. Check for stuck keys: Press each touch key individually and ensure they respond normally. If one area is unresponsive or always “pressed,” the touch panel may be faulty.
• 4. Inspect UI board: If the lock icon remains on and cannot be cleared, the user interface board may have a firmware or hardware fault. Replacement of the UI module is typically required.
