Possible Causes
Loose convection fan blade, Worn convection or cooling fan bearings, Loose internal panels or screws, Transformer or relay buzzing on control board
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power before tightening screws or touching internal components. Moving fans can cause injury.
- 1. Identify noise source: Run the oven briefly and listen from different sides to locate the area of the noise (back, top, front).
- 2. Check fan blades: With power off, access the convection and cooling fans. Ensure blades are tight on the motor shaft and not contacting shrouds or panels.
- 3. Tighten hardware: Tighten any loose screws on internal panels, fan housings, and the control board mounting.
- 4. Replace noisy fan: If a fan motor has excessive play or grinding noise when spun by hand, replace the fan motor assembly.
