Possible Causes
Door not fully closed or misaligned, Faulty door switch or latch sensor, Stuck or failed Start key on touch panel, Control board logic fault
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power before adjusting hinges or accessing switches.
- 1. Confirm door closure: Open and firmly close the door. Check that it is level and flush with the cabinet. If it sags, adjust or replace hinges.
- 2. Listen for door switch click: Slowly open and close the door while listening for a distinct click from the door switch or latch sensor. Lack of a click may indicate a failed switch.
- 3. Test door switch: Access the door switch or latch assembly behind the front panel. With power off, remove the switch and test continuity as the actuator is pressed and released. Replace if readings are incorrect.
- 4. Check Start key: Press the Start key multiple times. If it feels different from other keys or does not respond, the touch panel may be faulty and require replacement.
