Possible Causes
Defective touch control panel, Moisture ingress behind glass, Loose ribbon cable between UI and main board, Damaged capacitive touch sensor IC
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect the oven from mains before removing the control panel glass or fascia.
- Dry the control area: If the error appeared after cleaning or a spill, leave power off and allow the control panel to dry for several hours. Moisture can cause false touches.
- Inspect ribbon cable: Remove the control panel and check the flat ribbon cable between the touch panel and the main board. Reseat both ends carefully and ensure there are no cracks or kinks.
- Check for cracks or damage: Inspect the glass and touch sensor board for cracks, burned spots, or corrosion. Replace the touch control panel if damaged.
- Clean contacts: Use electronic contact cleaner on plug-in connectors (do not soak the touch surface). Allow to dry completely before reassembly.
- Replace UI module if needed: If F10 persists and the main board is known good, replace the complete Gorenje user interface/touch control module.
