Oven display shows F14 and steam-assisted or moisture functions do not work (on steam-enabled Gorenje ovens).

Safety first: Turn off power and allow the oven to cool before working near the steam system. Beware of residual hot steam.

• Check water tank: Ensure the water tank is filled to the correct level and properly seated in its compartment. Clean any scale or debris from the tank contacts.
• Clean steam outlets: Inspect the steam outlet/nozzle inside the cavity for blockages. Clean gently with a non-metallic brush and descaling solution if limescale is present.
• Descale the system: Run a descaling program if the oven offers one, using a manufacturer-approved descaler.
• Test steam heater and sensors: Access the steam generator (usually at the side or rear). Check heater resistance and inspect wiring. Test water level sensor or float switch for proper operation. Replace faulty components.
• Professional service: Steam systems operate under pressure and high temperature; if F14 persists, have a qualified technician service the steam generator.
