Possible Causes

Failed knob motor, Jammed mechanism, Faulty position sensor, Loose connector to knob module

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Disconnect power before removing the control panel or knob assemblies.

  • Check for mechanical jam: Gently try to move the knob in and out (if safe). Do not force it. Remove the control panel fascia to inspect the mechanism for dirt or misalignment.
  • Inspect motor and gears: Look for broken plastic gears or stripped teeth. Replace the knob motor module if damaged.
  • Check wiring: Ensure the small connector from the knob motor/sensor to the control board is firmly seated.
  • Replace knob module: If the motor does not run when commanded and wiring is intact, replace the complete Gorenje motorized knob assembly.
