Oven display shows F17 and child lock or safety lock cannot be activated or deactivated.

Safety first: If the oven is stuck on and cannot be turned off due to control issues, switch off power at the breaker.

• Attempt manual reset: Follow the user manual procedure to toggle the child lock (usually holding a specific key combination for several seconds). If unresponsive, proceed.
• Power cycle: Disconnect power for 10 minutes, then restore and try again.
• Dry and clean panel: Wipe the control panel with a dry cloth and allow any moisture to evaporate. Do not use excessive water or spray directly on the panel.
• Inspect UI board: If the issue persists, remove the control panel and inspect the user interface board for damage or corrosion. Replace the UI board if necessary.
