Possible Causes
Active child lock, Door not detected as closed, Faulty Start button or touch key, Software lock due to previous error
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Ensure the oven is empty and the door is properly closed before testing.
- Check for child lock: Look for a key or lock symbol on the display. Follow the manual to deactivate the child lock (usually holding a specific button for several seconds).
- Verify door closure: Ensure nothing obstructs the door. Listen for a click when closing. If the oven uses a door switch, test it for continuity when closed and replace if faulty.
- Test Start button: On mechanical buttons, ensure the button is not stuck. On touch panels, try pressing firmly and in different positions. If unresponsive, the UI board may be faulty.
- Power reset: Disconnect power for 5–10 minutes to clear any software lock, then try again.
