Oven door will not close fully or pops open slightly during operation.

Safety first: Ensure the oven is cool before working on the door. Support the door to prevent it from falling.

• Inspect hinges: Open the door fully and check both hinges for play, bending, or cracks. Tighten any loose mounting screws on the oven frame.
• Check hinge arms and springs: If the door does not stay closed firmly, the hinge springs may be weak. Replace both hinges as a set with Gorenje-compatible parts.
• Examine latch/strike: If your model uses a latch, ensure the strike plate on the cabinet is not bent and that the latch engages fully. Adjust or replace as needed.
• Door alignment: After hinge replacement, check that the door sits evenly against the gasket all around. Adjust hinge mounting if necessary.
