Possible Causes
Loose fan blade, Bent fan impeller, Worn fan motor bearings, Foreign object contacting fan
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power and allow the oven to cool before accessing the fan area.
- Access fan: Remove the rear inner panel inside the oven to expose the convection fan and cover.
- Check for debris: Look for loose screws, bits of foil, or food pieces around the fan. Remove any foreign objects.
- Tighten fan nut: Gently hold the fan blade and tighten the central nut or screw securing it to the motor shaft.
- Inspect fan blade: If the blade is bent or cracked, replace it with a Gorenje-compatible fan impeller.
- Assess motor bearings: Spin the fan by hand. If it feels rough or wobbly, the motor bearings are worn and the fan motor should be replaced.
