Possible Causes

Open or shorted oven temperature sensor (NTC probe), Damaged sensor harness or connector, Fault on main control board sensor input

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Turn off the oven at the wall switch or circuit breaker and allow it to cool completely before working on it.

  • Power reset: Switch off power for 5 minutes, then restore power and see if E0 clears. Temporary glitches can sometimes be cleared this way.
  • Check sensor connection: Remove the rear cover of the Hisense oven (or access panel inside the cavity, depending on model). Locate the oven temperature sensor (usually a thin metal probe at the rear wall inside the cavity) and follow its wires to the connector. Ensure the connector is fully seated and not burnt or corroded.
  • Inspect sensor wiring: Look for pinched, cut, or burnt wires between the sensor and the main control board. Repair or replace damaged wiring.
  • Test the sensor: With power still OFF, disconnect the sensor and measure its resistance with a multimeter. A typical Hisense NTC sensor should be around 1000–1200 Ω at room temperature (check your model’s service data). If it reads open (OL) or near 0 Ω, replace the sensor.
  • Control board check: If the sensor and wiring test good but E0 persists, the main control board’s sensor circuit may be faulty and require replacement by a qualified technician.
