Possible Causes

Failed cooling fan motor, Faulty fan speed sensor (tachometer) if equipped, Blocked fan blades, Wiring fault between fan and control board

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Disconnect power and wait for all components to cool.

  • Access cooling fan: Remove the top or rear cover to reach the cavity cooling fan. Check for dust, grease, or insulation obstructing the blades.
  • Spin test: Rotate the fan by hand. If stiff or noisy, replace the fan motor assembly.
  • Electrical test: Disconnect the fan and measure motor resistance. An open circuit indicates a failed motor. Replace as needed.
  • Check feedback wiring: If your Hisense model uses a tachometer wire, ensure the connector is secure and wiring is intact.
  • Control board: If the fan is good but E10 persists, the control board may not be reading the fan feedback correctly and may require replacement.
