Possible Causes
Internal failure of clock/timer IC on control board, Power surge damage, Corrupted firmware, Faulty backup capacitor or battery (if fitted)
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power before removing the control panel.
- Reset settings: After power cycling the oven for 5–10 minutes, reprogram the clock and timer. Check if E13 reappears.
- Inspect control board: Remove the control panel and visually inspect the main control PCB for burnt components or leaking capacitors near the clock circuit.
- Firmware reset: Some Hisense models allow a factory reset via the settings menu. Perform this if available.
- Board replacement: If the error persists and the board shows signs of damage, replace the main control board.
