Possible Causes

Failed convection heating element (ring element), Loose element connections, Damaged wiring to convection element, Faulty convection relay on control board

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Disconnect power and allow the oven to cool.

  • Access ring element: Remove the rear panel inside the oven cavity to expose the circular convection element around the fan.
  • Visual inspection: Look for cracks, burn marks, or breaks in the ring element.
  • Continuity test: Disconnect one wire and measure resistance. Expect 20–40 Ω. If open, replace the convection element.
  • Check terminals and wiring: Ensure all spade terminals are tight and wiring is not heat-damaged.
  • Control board: If the element and wiring are good, the convection heater relay on the main board may be defective and require replacement.
