Possible Causes
Shorted or drifted NTC sensor, Stuck-closed heating relay on control board, Sensor not properly mounted to cavity wall, Incorrect temperature calibration setting
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power before accessing internal components.
- Compare with thermometer: Use an oven thermometer to compare actual temperature to the set temperature. If the oven is consistently hotter, proceed with checks.
- Sensor test: Measure sensor resistance at room temperature and at a known elevated temperature (e.g., 100°C). Replace if readings do not match Hisense specifications.
- Check relay: With power OFF, inspect the control board for a welded or burnt heater relay. If the relay contacts are stuck closed, the oven will overheat. Replace the board.
- Calibration: Use the settings menu to reduce the temperature offset if your model supports calibration.
