Possible Causes
Shorted or stuck touchpad, Failed electronic oven control board key input circuit, Moisture intrusion into control panel
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power at the breaker before removing the control panel.
- Check for physical issues: Inspect the glass touch panel for cracks, warping, or liquid spills. Clean and dry thoroughly.
- Ribbon cable inspection: Remove the control panel and locate the keypad ribbon cable. Disconnect and inspect for corrosion, burns, or kinks. Clean contacts gently with isopropyl alcohol and reconnect.
- Keypad isolation test: With the keypad ribbon disconnected from the control board, restore power. If F7 does not appear, the keypad is defective and should be replaced. If F7 still appears, the control board is likely faulty.
- Replace failed component: Install a new Monogram touch control panel / keypad assembly or electronic oven control board as indicated by the test. Transfer wiring carefully and secure all screws.
