How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power before testing.
- Inspect broil element: Look at the broil element at the top of the oven for breaks or burn spots.
- Continuity test: Access the broil element terminals from the rear. Disconnect wires and test resistance with a multimeter. An open circuit indicates a failed element.
- Check wiring: Inspect connectors and wires for heat damage. Repair or replace as needed.
- Control board: If the element and wiring are good but the broil element never receives power in broil mode, replace the electronic oven control board.
