Possible Causes
Tripped breaker or blown house fuse, Open thermal fuse (if equipped), Failed EOC
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power before accessing internal components.
Steps:
- Check breaker: Verify the range breaker is ON. Reset if tripped.
- Terminal block: Pull the range out and inspect the power cord terminal block for burnt wires or loose connections. Repair as needed.
- Check thermal fuse: Some Premier ovens have a thermal fuse in series with the control. Locate it (often on the rear or top of the oven cavity) and test for continuity. Replace if open.
- EOC replacement: If power is present at the EOC but the display is dead, replace the EOC.
