Possible Causes
Control lock feature enabled, Stuck keypad button, EOC misinterpreting key presses
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: This is not an electrical fault; no disassembly is required initially.
Steps:
- Disable control lock: On most Premier ovens, press and hold the Clock or Lock key for 3–5 seconds until LOC disappears. Refer to the user manual for the exact key combination.
- Power reset: If LOC will not clear, turn the breaker OFF for 2 minutes, then ON, and try the unlock sequence again.
- Check for stuck keys: If LOC reappears or keys are unresponsive, the keypad may be failing. Press each key firmly to see if any are stuck or non-responsive.
If the lock indicator will not clear and keys remain unresponsive, the touchpad or EOC may need replacement.
