Possible Causes
Household power outage, Loose power cord connection at terminal block, Tripped breaker or partial power loss
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: If you suspect wiring issues, turn off the breaker before inspecting connections.
Steps:
- Confirm power: Check that both range breakers (for 240 V) are fully ON and not partially tripped. Reset if necessary.
- Clear code: Press Clear/Off or similar key to clear PF, then reset the clock.
- Inspect terminal block: Pull the range out and remove the rear cover over the power cord terminal block. Look for loose screws, burnt wires, or discoloration. Tighten connections and replace any burnt wiring or terminal block.
If PF appears frequently without known outages, have an electrician check the supply voltage and connections.
