Oven light does not turn on when the door is opened or when the light button is pressed.

Safety first: Turn off power or unplug the range before replacing the bulb or socket.

Steps:

• Replace bulb: Remove the glass light cover inside the oven (usually twists off). Replace the bulb with the correct high-temperature appliance bulb (check Premier specifications).
• Test door switch: If the light still does not work, test the door switch for continuity when the door is opened and closed. Replace if defective.
• Inspect socket: Check the light socket for signs of burning or loose contacts. Replace the socket if damaged.
