Possible Causes
Overheating EOC due to blocked ventilation, Failing temperature sensor, Intermittent power connection
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power before removing panels.
Steps:
- Ventilation: Ensure the control panel vents and rear of the range are not blocked. Do not push the range tightly against the wall if vents are rear-facing.
- Check sensor: Test the oven temperature sensor resistance at room temperature and at a known elevated temperature (if possible). Replace if readings are unstable or out of spec.
- Inspect wiring: Check the power cord, terminal block, and internal harness for loose or burnt connections that could cause intermittent power loss.
- Control board: If all else checks good, the EOC may be overheating internally and shutting down; replacement is indicated.
