Possible Causes
Open‑circuit grill element, Faulty grill selector switch position, Burnt grill wiring or connectors, Failed grill relay on control PCB
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect mains power before accessing the grill area.
- Visual check: Inspect the grill element for visible damage. Replace if swollen or cracked.
- Continuity test: Access the grill terminals from the rear, disconnect, and measure resistance. Replace the element if open circuit.
- Check selector switch: On models with a grill position on the function knob, inspect the switch contacts and wiring. Replace the switch if contacts are burnt or loose.
- Control board: If the element and wiring are good but the grill never energises, the grill relay on the PCB may be faulty; replace the main control PCB.
Warning: Grill elements run very hot; ensure all high‑temperature wiring is correctly routed and clipped away from the element.
