How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Ensure the oven is cool and power is off. Wear gloves and eye protection when handling glass.

Tighten fixings: Remove the door (if designed to lift off) and lay it on a soft surface. Tighten any screws securing the inner glass and trim.
Inspect seals and spacers: Check the rubber or fibre seals around the glass panes and the plastic spacers. Replace any that are perished or missing.
Address condensation: Persistent condensation between panes usually indicates a failed seal. Replace the complete door glass assembly or the affected pane and seals as supplied by Salter.
Reassemble carefully: Ensure glass is correctly oriented and seated before tightening screws to avoid stress cracks.

Warning: Do not use the oven with cracked glass; it can shatter under heat.

Oven door glass is loose, rattling, or has condensation between the panes.

Possible Causes
