How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Isolate the oven from mains power.

Inspect fan element: Remove the internal rear panel and visually inspect the circular element. Replace if cracked or blistered.
Test continuity: Disconnect the element and measure resistance. An open circuit means the element is faulty and must be replaced.
Check wiring and selector: Inspect the wiring from the selector switch or PCB to the element for burns or loose connectors. On mechanical selector models, ensure the fan‑heat contact is not burnt; replace the selector if necessary.
Fit new element: Install a genuine Salter fan oven element and reassemble panels before testing.

Warning: Ensure the fan blade is not disturbed or fouling the new element during reassembly.

Oven fan runs but there is no heat in fan‑assisted mode; other modes may work.
