Possible Causes
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Switch off the oven at the wall isolator and unplug it (if plug-fitted). If hard-wired, turn off the circuit breaker and verify power is off before removing any panels.
Steps to check:
- Power reset: Turn power off for 5–10 minutes, then restore power and see if E0 clears. This can reset the Tower control logic.
- Inspect control panel ribbon: Remove the front control panel fascia (usually held by screws behind the door trim). Locate the flat ribbon cable between the touch panel and the main control PCB. Reseat both ends firmly and check for kinks or burn marks.
- Check for moisture: Look for signs of steam or moisture ingress around the control panel. Dry gently with a hair dryer on low heat from a safe distance, then allow 30 minutes before re-powering.
- Board inspection: On the main control board, inspect connectors CN1/CN2 (naming may vary by Tower model) for corrosion or discoloration. Clean with contact cleaner if lightly oxidized.
When to stop: If the ribbon is damaged or the PCB shows burn marks or cracked components, do not continue. The control PCB or touch panel assembly will likely need replacement by a qualified technician.
