Possible Causes

Open or shorted lower cavity NTC sensor, Loose sensor connector on secondary control board, Damaged sensor harness

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Isolate the appliance from mains power.

Steps to check:

  • Identify cavity: Confirm that E11 corresponds to the lower oven on your specific Tower model (refer to user manual if available).
  • Locate sensor: Find the temperature sensor probe in the affected cavity (usually rear wall). Access its wiring from the rear of the oven.
  • Check connection: Reseat the sensor connector on the relevant control board.
  • Test sensor: Measure resistance at room temperature; compare with the known-good sensor from the other cavity if possible. Replace the sensor if readings are open, shorted, or significantly different.

Note: If both sensors test good, the secondary control board may be faulty and should be replaced by a technician.
