Possible Causes
Shorted lamp holder, Incorrect wattage bulb, Damaged lamp glass cover, Burnt lamp wiring
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power and allow the oven to cool. Glass components may be hot.
Steps to check:
- Remove lamp cover: Unscrew or unclip the glass lamp cover inside the cavity.
- Check bulb: Remove the bulb and inspect for broken filament or blackening. Replace with the correct Tower-specified oven lamp (typically 25–40 W, high-temperature rated).
- Holder inspection: Inspect the lamp holder for signs of arcing, burning, or cracks. If damaged, the holder must be replaced from the rear of the oven.
- Wiring: From the rear, check the lamp wiring for insulation damage or shorts to the metal cabinet.
Warning: Only use high-temperature oven-rated bulbs. Standard household bulbs can fail quickly or shatter.
