Possible Causes
Stuck keypad button, Activated child lock function, Faulty touch control PCB, Moisture on touch panel
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: If you need to remove the control panel, isolate the oven from mains power first.
Steps to check:
- Child lock: Consult the Tower user manual for the specific key combination to toggle child lock (often holding a specific button for 3–5 seconds). Attempt to unlock.
- Clean panel: Wipe the touch panel with a soft, dry cloth to remove moisture or grease that may cause false touches.
- Power reset: Turn off power for 5 minutes, then restore and test.
- Inspect keypad: If a physical button is stuck, remove the control fascia and check for misaligned plastic or debris. If the switch itself is faulty, the touch control PCB may need replacement.
Note: Persistent E13 after cleaning and reset usually indicates a failing keypad or control board.
