Possible Causes
Open-circuit bottom heating element, Loose or burnt bottom element connectors, Damaged wiring to base element, Faulty base element relay on control PCB
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Isolate the oven from mains power.
Steps to check:
- Access element: Remove the oven base panel inside the cavity (if removable) to expose the bottom element, or access from the rear depending on Tower model.
- Visual check: Look for cracks, blisters, or burn marks on the element.
- Continuity test: Disconnect the element wires and measure resistance. An open reading indicates a failed element.
- Replace element: Fit a new Tower-compatible base element, ensuring correct routing of wires and secure connections.
Note: If the element is good, further diagnosis of the relay and control board is required.
