Possible Causes

Mode selector switch contact failure (on knob-type Tower ovens), Faulty grill-fan interlock relay, Wiring issue between grill element and fan motor

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Disconnect power before removing the control panel or selector knob assembly.

Steps to check:

  • Mode selector: On mechanical knob models, remove the knob and inspect the selector switch behind it. Check for burnt contacts or loose spindles.
  • Function test: Try standard grill and standard fan oven modes separately. If both work individually but not together, the issue is likely in the control logic or selector contacts for the combined mode.
  • Replace selector: If contacts are worn or burnt, replace the Tower mode selector switch assembly.

Note: On fully electronic models, E19 may indicate a control board logic fault requiring PCB replacement.
