Possible Causes

Open high-limit thermostat, Tripped thermal cut-out on top of oven cavity, Blocked cooling vents, Failed cooling fan motor

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Turn off power and allow the oven to cool completely before working on it.

Steps to check:

  • Ventilation: Ensure there is adequate space around the oven as per Tower installation instructions. Clear any obstructions from front and rear vents.
  • Cooling fan operation: During use, the top cooling fan should run when the oven heats. If it does not, suspect the cooling fan motor or its supply from the control board.
  • Access thermal cut-out: Remove the top cover of the oven cabinet. Locate the thermal cut-out (small round or rectangular thermostat) mounted on top of the oven cavity.
  • Reset or replace: Some Tower models use a manual-reset thermostat (small red button). Press gently to reset. If it is a non-resettable type and shows open circuit on a continuity test, replace it with the correct Tower-rated thermal cut-out.

Warning: Repeated overtemperature trips indicate a deeper issue (cooling fan, blocked vents, or control fault). Do not bypass or short the thermal cut-out.
