Possible Causes

Open-circuit fan oven heating element, Burnt element terminals, Loose wiring at element, Faulty relay on main control PCB

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Isolate the oven from mains power.

Steps to check:

  • Element inspection: Remove the rear panel inside the oven cavity to expose the circular fan oven element. Look for visible breaks, bulges, or burn marks.
  • Terminal check: From the rear of the oven cabinet, locate the element terminals. Ensure spade connectors are tight and not heat-damaged.
  • Continuity test: Disconnect the element wires and measure resistance across the element. A typical Tower fan element reads 20–40 Ω. If it reads open, replace the element.
  • Replace element: Unscrew the mounting screws inside the cavity, pull the element forward, transfer wires to the new Tower-compatible fan oven element, and refit.

Note: If the element tests good but E4 persists, the issue may be with the control board relay or wiring, which is best checked by a technician.
