Possible Causes

Failed grill element, Loose or burnt grill element connectors, Open grill thermostat (if separate), Faulty grill relay on control PCB

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Disconnect mains power before working on the oven.

Steps to check:

  • Visual check: Inspect the top grill element inside the cavity for sagging, cracks, or burn spots.
  • Access terminals: Remove the top or rear cover of the oven to access the grill element terminals. Check for heat damage or loose spade connectors.
  • Continuity test: Disconnect the wires and measure resistance across the grill element. A healthy element typically reads 15–40 Ω. Replace if open.
  • Reassembly: Fit a new Tower-compatible grill element, ensuring all terminals are tight and insulated from the cabinet.

Important: If the element is good, further diagnosis of the grill relay and control board should be done by a qualified technician.
