Possible Causes

Failed main power relay, Burnt tracks on power PCB, Loose mains input connector on control board, Internal short on power board

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Isolate the oven from mains power. Capacitors on the power board can retain charge; avoid touching components unnecessarily.

Steps to check:

  • Visual inspection: Remove the rear cover and locate the main power/control board. Look for burnt areas, cracked solder joints, or melted connectors.
  • Connector check: Ensure the mains input connector and output connectors to elements and fans are fully seated.
  • Relay check (basic): When the oven is commanded to heat (with power restored and extreme caution), you should hear a click from the main relay. If there is no click and E8 appears, the relay or its drive circuit may be faulty.

Important: Component-level repair of the power board is not recommended for untrained users. Replacement of the entire Tower main control/power PCB is usually required and should be done by a qualified technician.
