Possible Causes

Open safety thermostat, Faulty main oven thermostat (on analogue Tower models), Broken live feed to heating circuit, Failed main relay on control PCB

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Isolate the oven from mains power before testing continuity.

Steps to check:

  • Check timer: Ensure the clock is set and the timer is not in automatic mode. Many Tower ovens will not heat if the timer is not correctly set to manual.
  • Mode and temperature: Confirm a valid cooking mode and temperature are selected.
  • Safety thermostat: Access the top of the oven and locate the safety thermostat/thermal cut-out. Test for continuity. If open and resettable, press the reset button. If non-resettable and open, replace it.
  • Main thermostat (analogue models): Test the oven thermostat contacts for continuity when turned above room temperature. Replace if open.

Note: If all safety devices and thermostats are good, the main control PCB or relay may be faulty and should be checked by a technician.
