• Check sensor resistance: Disconnect the sensor plug and measure resistance with a multimeter. At room temperature (20–25°C), most V-ZUG NTC sensors measure around 1–1.5 kΩ or 500–1000 Ω depending on model (refer to service data). A reading of 0 Ω (short) or OL (open) indicates a faulty sensor.
• Inspect wiring and connectors: Look for pinched, burnt, or broken wires between the sensor and the main PCB. Clean any oxidized connectors and reseat them firmly.
• Test at different temperatures: If possible, gently warm the sensor with a hair dryer (not a flame) while monitoring resistance; it should change smoothly. Erratic readings suggest sensor failure.
• Replace sensor if defective: Install the correct V-ZUG oven temperature sensor, routing the cable away from hot spots and sharp edges. Secure with original clips or screws.

When to call a technician: If the sensor tests good but F03 persists, the main PCB input circuit may be defective and should be diagnosed and replaced by a professional.
