Possible Causes
Failed relay board supplying power to elements, Burned relay contacts, Loose power connections at relay board, Internal power supply fault on control board
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Turn off power at the breaker. High voltage is present at the relay board; do not work live.
Inspection:
- Access the relay/power board from the rear or top of the oven (varies by Wolf model).
- Inspect for burnt spots, cracked solder joints, or melted terminals on the board.
- Check that all spade connectors and harness plugs are fully seated and not heat-damaged.
- With power still OFF, verify continuity across the relays when manually actuated (if service manual allows) or check coil resistance.
Corrective actions:
- If any relay is visibly burned or does not switch, replace the relay/power board with a Wolf-approved part.
- Ensure all wiring is reconnected exactly as originally routed; take photos before removal.
- Restore power and test bake and broil. If E05 remains, the main control board may also require replacement.
