Possible Causes
Temperature sensor drifted out of range, Poor sensor connection at control, Incorrect oven calibration setting, Control board ADC failure
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Turn off power before accessing internal components.
Verification:
- Use an accurate oven thermometer to compare actual temperature to the set temperature at 350°F.
- If the oven is consistently off by more than 25°F, check the temperature sensor resistance at room temperature and at a known elevated temperature (per Wolf specs).
- Inspect and reseat the sensor connector at the control board.
Corrective actions:
- Use the oven's temperature calibration feature (if available) to adjust by ±35°F.
- Replace the oven temperature sensor if resistance is out of spec or unstable.
- If calibration and sensor replacement do not resolve E15, replace the main control board.
